God is Fair
Allah, The Judge, is fair.
If you say that everybody will be forgiven and will enter paradise, it simply means that God is unfair.
There are people who are believers, those who are righteous and the doers of good, who are humble and obedient to God and His commandments.
And then there are people who are criminals and sinners, idol-worshipers, the arrogant and disobedient to God and His commandments. Are they equal? Should their outcome be equal? There is nothing farther from the truth, if we say that they will all be forgiven and enter paradise. God is not unfair.
It is only fair that the righteous and obedient should be rewarded and the arrogant and disobedient should be punished. And that is why God says, "Tell my slaves that I am forgiving and merciful, and my punishment is a very severe punishment." God created both the gardens of paradise and the fire of hell.
Eternal gardens of paradise are for the believers and for the obedient and the righteous servants of God. Those whose hearts are humbled and they believe once they come to know the truth.
Eternal hell-fire is for the the arrogant and disobedient people. Those who worship dead people as idols. A befitting punishement for the arrogant who do not believe even after knowing the truth.
May Allah, guide us all and save us all from the fire of hell. Ameen
